Summer Groundskeeper

This is a summer position that will typically assist in the grass cutting during the Summer. 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• Preference to college students and recent graduates of the Mehlville School District

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS include the following:

• Safely maintains and ensures the beauty of the grounds including cutting grass, controlling weeds, trimming landscaping and caring for plants, trees and shrubs
• Hauls dirt, sand, gravel and mulch
• Operates, repairs and maintains grounds maintenance equipment and ensures its safety
• Moves heavy objects and equipment
• Prepares athletic fields for sporting events
• Painting
• Assisting the Maintenance Technicians
• Landscaping
• Other duties may be assigned
